Changes to Jordan's Principle

Jordan’s Principle (ISC) has made changes to their application guidelines as of February 10, 2025. These changes have been made to ensure the long-term sustainability of the program and follow the Jordan’s Principle mandate – to support First Nations children who face barriers to access products, services and supports. 

What do the program changes mean for WDN Members who access Jordans Principle or who may need to in the future?

As part of the new guidelines, applications submitted to Jordan’s Principle must meet certain criteria.  Our staff will continue to work diligently to support families and individuals with their applications to the program.
