Charles Red Hawk Elementary School operates from pre-kindergarten to grade 4 with approximately 60 students, emphasizing academic, social, and cultural growth with strong Dakota language instruction from Elders, and through a partnership with Saskatoon Public Schools, Whitecap students continue their education at Chief Whitecap School in Saskatoon for grades 5-12, which features a Dakota culture room and reconciliation-focused curricula. The Chief Darcy Bear Scholarship, initiated in 2019, provides $25,000 annually for five years to support WDFN students' academic aspirations, distributed as $2,500 each to 10 recipients per academic year through contributions from the Saskatchewan government, BMO, and Whitecap Development Corporation. The Whitecap Early Learning Centre provides culturally-based childcare rooted in Dakota culture and Elder teachings for children ages 6 weeks to 12, operating Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and welcoming all children including those with cognitive, physical, or behavioural challenges.
